SolarDjangui Promotes Green Entrepreneurship!
On Monday, August 6, 2024, the SolarDjangui team visited the women vendors and hairdressers at the Mendong market in Yaoundé, Cameroon. These dynamic and determined women entrepreneurs showed great interest in green entrepreneurship, an opportunity offered to them by SolarDjangui, a program of the Center for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA).
During this meeting, a training session was held to highlight the numerous opportunities provided by renewable energies, particularly solar energy. The objective was to demonstrate how these solutions can enhance the professional lives of these women by offering them more sustainable and economical alternatives.
The SolarDjangui team also raised awareness among the participants about the importance of replacing polluting energy solutions with more environmentally friendly alternatives. This initiative aims to promote a more sustainable lifestyle and encourage the adoption of eco-friendly practices.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the participants for their commitment and enthusiasm in exploring these new avenues of sustainable development. We also thank Schneider Electric, which continues to work towards finding solar energy solutions tailored to our localities.
