Association Activités Féminines of Limbe : Towards Solar Entrepreneurship
Empowerment, Support, and Training for Women : A Commitment at the Heart of the Partnership!
From September 20 to 21, 2024, the SolarDjangui team trained women from the association Activités Féminines in Limbe on the opportunities offered by solar energy. This project aims to extend the solar lamp distribution network in a region frequently affected by power cuts, by raising community awareness of the importance of renewable energies.
The installation of vending machines in Limbe is a key step towards improving access to energy in the South-West. This partnership with the association Activités Féminines offers sustainable solutions to the problem of load shedding. The solar lamps will guarantee reliable lighting, improving the daily lives of the inhabitants while promoting a healthier environment.
This project would not have been possible without the support of the Center for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA) and its women's empowerment program. By training these women to become distributors, CECOSDA contributes to their entrepreneurial success. This partnership with the Center for Communication and Sustainable Development for All, in collaboration with Schneider, paves the way for a brighter future for communities in the South-West of France.
